The Bennetts British Superbike Championship welcomed a new team to the grid with FS-3 Racing in 2016, headed by businessman Nigel Snook.
The Coventry-based team originally purchased race-winning hardware from PBM; including the Kawasaki ZX-10 machines campaigned by Shane Byrne and Stuart Easton in 2015.
The team completed 2016 as a learning experience with Snook's friend and retired Ducati TriOptions Cup front-runner, Darren Fry playing a key role in guiding the team. The team return with multiple Superstock champion Danny Buchan.
